A group of the UK’s most innovative social housing providers have come together to launch our new programme, HouseMark Evolve, which offers support to startups looking to grow in this hugely important market.
The first ever partnership of its kind, this 12 week programme promises to help entrepreneurs understand the businesses opportunities that exist for them in this sector and support the development of new and necessary products and services.
Having accepted applications from all over the world during the summer, and hosting a pitch day in which 26 excellent teams competed to gain access to the programme, six teams have been selected to take part. These are:
COHEAT – http://www.coheat.co.uk
Plentific – https://plentific.com
illumr – http://illumr.com
Standard Access – http://www.standardaccess.co
SkenarioLabs – http://skenarios.com
Rapid Information Systems – https://www.rapid-is.co.uk
Over the coming weeks the teams will work with the providers to develop new solutions for the sector, which will enable it to meet the tough challenges it’s due to face, particularly giving tenants a better experience of interactions with their landlords.
The teams will have access to free London office space, senior mentors, piloting opportunities and potential investors. They will work towards demonstrating their solutions to a room of investors and sector specialists in February.
The providers pioneering the programme include 17 leading social housing providers who own and manage hundreds of thousands of homes across the country. It is led by HouseMark, the leading provider of social housing data and insight, in partnership with L Marks, a corporate innovation specialist and early-stage investor who have a history of bringing startups and corporates together for mutual benefit in organisations such as John Lewis, BMW and EDF.
Our pioneer housing providers represent some of the most innovative and forward thinking organisations in the sector:
