Housemark is a well-established data business working with the social housing sector. We help housing associations and local councils use insight to improve performance, strengthen services and deliver better outcomes for tenants.

We’re entering an exciting period of growth, with ambitious plans to introduce a next-generation AI data and analytics platform for the sector. This role will be key to shaping products that help our customers turn complex data into practical, actionable insights and actions.

We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded Head of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy and direction of our customer-facing product portfolio. You’ll join at a pivotal time, with the opportunity to shape how our products evolve, support a talented team and make a visible impact across the business and the wider housing sector.

The role

As our Head of Product Management, you’ll initially focus on Housemark’s product portfolio, setting the long-term product vision and bringing that vision to life through clear, evidence-led roadmaps. Over the medium to long term, there is also the opportunity for the role to evolve into a broader group product leadership role. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to understand customer needs, explore market opportunities and make sure our product priorities are focused on where they can deliver the greatest value.

What you’ll be doing

  • Shape product vision, strategy, propositions and roadmaps that are grounded in customer insight and aligned to our business goals.
  • Use research, market analysis, data and business cases to guide product investment and prioritisation decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, UX, marketing, sales and customer success teams to turn strategy into successful product delivery.
  • Track product performance, adoption and customer engagement, using insight to keep improving what we offer.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Product Team, creating the conditions for people to do their best work.

About you

You will be a confident product leader with proven experience of enabling success in multidisciplinary teams and developing effective product management practices. You’ll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, making complex ideas easy to understand and using evidence to shape product strategy, roadmaps and delivery priorities. Experience with tools such as Jira Product Management, Jira, Confluence (or similar) would be valuable, and knowledge of the social housing sector, data analytics, machine learning and AI would be an advantage.

The rewards

In return, you’ll join a supportive, ambitious organisation where your ideas will be valued and your work will help shape the future of our product portfolio.

Key benefits include:

  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Birthday leave
  • Social Housing Pension Scheme – defined contribution scheme
  • Optional private medical insurance
  • Life assurance 3 x salary
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Paid volunteering days

If you’re excited by the opportunity to lead product strategy, develop a talented team and create products that make a real difference for customers, we’d love to hear from you.
