Local offers tracking service

Local offers are at the heart of the Tenant Services Authority (TSA's) new approach to regulation. HouseMark is working with several of the organisations selected by the TSA to pilot an approach to local offers. We are therefore gaining first-hand experience and understanding of how such approaches might work.

To help landlords meet the challenge of setting up, tracking and reporting local offers, HouseMark has developed a new online Local Offers Tracking Service.

"An accessible service that could usefully be part of any performance framework, supporting a partnership approach to delivering service standards and enabling us to benchmark performance."

Julie Walker, Director of Housing -

HouseMark's Local Offers Tracking Service:

  • is for landlords and tenants to track progress in delivering and meeting their local offer(s)
  • makes use of HouseMark’s new integrated PI library - which ensures the quality and consistency of PIs and makes comparisons possible
  • can be used as the starting point for reporting and evidencing performance in meeting local offers for the annual report to tenants (and self-assessment for the TSA)
  • is easy to use and flexible to address the diverse nature of local offers
  • is available free to HouseMark subscribers

HouseMark's local offers tracking service is currently available as a live system for TSA pilot organisations and a separate demo system is available for review by other interested organisations.

What does the local offers tracking service do?

Set up the system to track your local offer:

  • select partner organisations – from the list of HouseMark members
  • set how your local offer is broken down – geographically, by community group or property type – select from local authority areas, or name your own groups or estates
  • select which PIs will be used to measure your impact – from our library of indicators, or request new PIs
  • set your own data collection frequency and local target for each PI
  • online data entry
  • view or download pre-populated tables and graphs within the online dashboard
  • create reports and select peer groups to benchmark your performance against either local offers or HouseMark national data

Who can use the local offers tracking service?
