Performance indicator tracking
HouseMark’s online PI tracking service is the only 'real time' benchmarking tool available to the UK housing sector and is used by hundreds of organisations to provide timely, comparative performance information. Subscribers can input data and generate statistical reports and graphs at any time. The system updates in real time as new data is entered.
Subscribers can compare performance on statutory and other key housing indicators on a quarterly or annual basis. We issue the comparative results for statutory indicators soon after the period end. The regulators’ official statistics are not published until many months later, so HouseMark subscribers get the data well ahead of anyone else and have early warning of performance trends. Quick PI results mean you find out how you are doing and can identify areas for improvement whilst the data is still fresh.
Comparisons are made on a club basis. Clubs can be set up on the basis of region, landlord type or a specialist 'theme'.
Upgraded in January 2009, the PI tracking service contains many new features including:
- a new wizard for creating reports and improved layout of graphs and data tables
- a new trend report to track progress against a PI over time
- the ability to select sub-groups of comparator organisations within a club eg based on size or area
- the ability for clubs to set their own profile questions to obtain more contextual information about organisations in the club
- the ability to show the expected range for data values, in addition to the existing, wider range of allowable values
